MY NAME IS GREG BALTES.
I create the web, one pixel at a time.
I am a graphic designer/web developer working in Dayton, Ohio. I love helping businesses solve their design problems, and turn their ideas into a reality.
We sit down and analyze what you need. To grow your idea, we must first seed it with careful planning and research. Clear and effective discussion not only helps us to create a strategy, but also allows me to get to know you and your business.
Just as every project is unique in nature, so too must each solution require an individual approach. My strong design skills allow me to produce creative, functional, captivating solutions that are a perfect fit for you and you're organization.
Taking our plans and designs, I mix in my talent and dedication, bringing your project to life. My knowledge and experience of industry trends and processes help us to grow your project until every pixel is perfect and you're 100% satisfied.
TalentFlood is a new web-based hiring service that aids potential employers and employees in making the most educated choices for hires and workplaces. I was tasked with logo development, website construction, and database implementation.
While a part of Artistic Inspirations, the Downtown partnership of a local town needed a new brochure to attract new partners to the organization. My responsibilities included layout, design, and implementation.
Royal Crest Agency
Royal Crest is an amazing family owned insurance agency that was looking for a new logo. My mission was to draft a clean, modern logo but also incorporate their rich, vibrant history. Incorporating flexibility between print and web-based mediums was essential.
What's Your Consignment
What's Your Consignment is a furniture and home décor store residing in the West Chicagoland area. I created the design for the mailer used in marketing to the local demographic.
Jasmine Moran Children's Museum strives to educate young children in their potential career opportunities. They needed a website design that was equally as exciting and interactive as the museum itself.
You've probably already gathered that I like pretty colors and shapes but, from a young age my driving passion has been art and design. Today, nearly everything in my day-to-day life is affected by it. I can't see myself doing anything else.
Starting in 2007, I enrolled at Huntington University, majoring in graphic design. There, I was able to immerse myself with like-minded people and hone my craft. After an internship with a small design firm in Tipp City, Ohio, the past few years I have worked as a graphic designer and developer. I am currently working as a freelancer.
My goal is to create beautiful and thought-out web interfaces, print-based designs and graphics. In an industry of constant change, I'm not scared to tackle new technologies. As a matter of fact they get me rather excited!
On a personal note I also enjoy kittens, fine beverages and the occasional video game.
